Adelaide Hills Organics makes small-batch skincare with natural and organic ingredients, handmade in the Adelaide Hills. Beautiful products, but getting them onto retail shelves takes more than a good formula. Stockists want scannable barcodes, consistent labels and a wholesale price list they can order from. That is the part of the job nobody sees, so here is how we did it.
The Labels
Every product in the range carries a label designed to match the brand: soft botanical palette, clean typography and the ingredient story front and centre. The same system runs across bottles, jars and mists so the range looks like a family on the shelf.
The Barcodes
Retailers cannot stock what they cannot scan. We assigned EAN-13 barcodes across 81 product variants, every size of every product, then bulk-loaded the lot into Shopify so the online store, the point of sale and the wholesale orders all speak the same language.
The Wholesale Side
With barcodes in place we built proper wholesale price lists as print-ready PDFs, so stockists like Green Dispensary in Stirling and Verté Kitchen in Mylor can order from a clean single-page document instead of a text message chain.
Why It Matters
None of this is glamorous. All of it is the difference between a hobby brand and a retail-ready one. When a new stockist says yes, Adelaide Hills Organics can hand over a price list, a barcode file and consistent product labels the same day.
