The brief: an authorised Mahindra centre hidden behind a Wix site
Bhaktapur Moto Tec is an official Mahindra service, spare parts, dent and paint centre on the Araniko Highway in Bhaktapur, Nepal. They operate under Balaju Auto Works, the authorised Mahindra distributor for the country, which puts them inside the official network of authorised centres. For a Mahindra owner that authorisation is the whole point. It means genuine parts and proper service, not a guess.
The problem was that none of that authority came through online. The business was stuck on a Wix site that search engines could barely read. The map was broken, there was no real control over the structured data that tells Google what the business is. There was no fast way for a customer to book or reach out. A genuine authorised centre was sitting behind a website that made it look like anything but. Bhaktapur Moto Tec needed a complete rebuild, not a patch.
What was wrong with the old site
Wix is fine for a simple page. It falls down fast the moment you need real search performance. On the old site the issues stacked up:
- The location map was broken, which is a serious problem for a business people need to physically drive to.
- There was no control over schema, so Google had no clean way to understand the business, its hours, its service area or its Mahindra credential.
- There was no multi-step booking and no fast WhatsApp path, which is how customers in Nepal actually want to get in touch.
- The whole thing was hard to find, because the structure underneath was never built for search.
The rebuild: WordPress with a real SEO structure
We moved the business off Wix and onto WordPress, where every part of the site can be controlled and tuned for search. The rebuild was not a redesign for the sake of looks. It was a structural job. Clean URLs, a proper sitemap, fast indexing and a layout built so that search engines and customers both find what they need quickly.
The new brand is bold and confident in Mahindra red, black and white, so the authorised status reads instantly. Book service, WhatsApp and call sit right at the top, because the goal of the homepage is to turn a visitor into a booking with the least friction possible.
Bilingual by design: English and Nepali
This site serves a Nepali audience first, with English alongside it. So the rebuild was bilingual from the ground up rather than bolted on after. Customers can read the site in the language they think in, which matters most when the subject is their vehicle and they want to be sure they understood the service correctly. Both language versions are built to be found in search, not hidden behind a toggle that Google ignores.
Schema that proves the Mahindra credential
The single most valuable thing this site does that the old one could not is tell Google, in machine-readable terms, exactly what Bhaktapur Moto Tec is. Structured data marks it out as an automotive service business, sets the location and hours. It also carries the authorised Mahindra credential. That is the difference between Google treating it as a generic garage and understanding it as an official service centre on the Araniko Highway. For the searches that matter, that distinction is everything.
Built for speed in Nepal
A site is only as good as it is fast for the people loading it. The build runs on solid hosting with a content delivery network in front of it, so pages load quickly for visitors in and around Kathmandu and Bhaktapur rather than crawling in from a server on the other side of the world. Fast pages keep customers on the site and help search rankings at the same time.
The result
Bhaktapur Moto Tec went from a stuck Wix page that search engines struggled with to a fast, bilingual WordPress site built properly for search, backed by a strong Google rating from real customers. The business is now showing up in its area and earning organic visits from people looking for genuine Mahindra service near them. The authorisation that was always real is finally visible online.
Why this matters for any business stuck on a builder platform
A lot of small businesses launch on Wix, Squarespace or a Facebook page because it is quick and it gets them online. That is a reasonable start. The trouble comes later, when the business wants to actually compete in search and the platform simply will not let it. You cannot control the structure, you cannot control the schema. You end up invisible no matter how good the business is.
Moving to a properly built WordPress site is not about chasing a trend. It is about owning the foundations so your business can be found. Done right, with the migration handled cleanly and the old links carried across, you keep what you had and gain everything the old platform was holding back.

The full case study sits in the Bhaktapur Moto Tec portfolio entry. If your business is stuck on a website builder that will not let you rank, the same process applies. A clean migration, a structure built for search plus the schema that tells Google exactly who you are.
