Rebranded an Adelaide CBD cafe and built its first website, taking it from unfindable under the new name to showing up in search.

The Challenge

Saint Green is a coffee and salad bar at 255 Pulteney Street in the Adelaide CBD. It is the rebrand of a venue that used to trade under a different name. That was exactly the problem. The food had changed, the fitout had changed and the name had changed, but online none of it had caught up. Search the new name and you would not find the cafe. Anyone walking past who wanted to check the menu before coming in had nowhere to look.

What We Did

  • Built a complete website from scratch for the new brand, covering the menu, the story behind it and how to find the place
  • Kept the design deliberately calm and minimal: cream, a single forest green and plenty of breathing room, so it reads like the room itself rather than a template
  • Used real photography of the actual food and the actual shop, no stock imagery anywhere
  • Rebuilt the logo as a clean wordmark that sits properly in the header and footer
  • Got the business set up on Google so the new name resolves to the right place
  • Handled the on-page SEO groundwork: titles, descriptions, page structure and local signals all pointing at the Pulteney Street address
  • Built it fast and mobile first, because most people checking a cafe menu are standing on the footpath

The Results

Saint Green went from having no online footprint under its new name to being findable. Search the business now and the site comes up, with the menu, the hours and the address all there. For a cafe trading on weekday CBD foot traffic, that is the difference between being discovered and being walked past.
