The Challenge
Spicy Chick is a fast-growing Nashville hot chicken brand with three Adelaide kitchens in Malvern, Glenelg and Sefton Park. The food is loud and well loved, with a loyal following, but the online presence did not match the energy in the shops. There was no single home that told the brand story, showed the full menu or made ordering simple across all three stores. The halal certification that matters to a big part of their customer base was also hard to find online.
What We Did
- Brought the full brand identity online: the flaming rooster mascot, a bold black, gold and red palette and impact display type, animated so the site feels as loud as the food
- Built a fast custom multi-page website covering home, full menu, gallery, our story, halal certification, franchise enquiry and a page for each store
- Used their real food photography and kitchen video throughout with zero stock imagery, including a featured plating reel
- Wired online ordering to each store so customers always land on their nearest kitchen for live menus and prices
- Built a dedicated halal page with structured FAQ content so the certification question is answered clearly and surfaces in search
- Laid local SEO foundations across all three suburbs with schema markup, a sitemap, analytics and Search Console set up
- Launched on their own domain, spicychick.au, with their email kept running through the move
The Results
Spicy Chick now has a single confident home that looks and moves like the brand in the shops. The site loads fast, reads cleanly on phones where most orders start and sends every customer straight to their nearest store to order. The full menu, real photography and clear halal certification are front and centre, with the foundations in place for the brand to keep growing across Adelaide.
